Past experience suggests not, even when (as in the case of the Guardian) the "new" version is more interesting than the old. Maybe they could spin off a Morrisonverse, since that's what he appears to want? In terms of the story itself - well, it was great, wasn't it? It was fun, there was some good moments that you'll remember, some interesting new ideas and characters. I think a lot of people believe Morrison's stuff is deeper than it is because it's so dense - but sometimes the density is all it is. At least he writes comics worth reading, even if he doesn't bother to answer all his own questions.... I almost wish DC would publish a "Cliff's Notes" version of this arc so I could understand evertything that was going on. I don't mind being challenged while reading, but only if it's worth the effort. There was no such payoff here. I only hope that with the upcoming absence of Batman in real time, we get to some "Casebook Files" of the Caped Crusader, encompassing tales of all of his prior incarnations.
